East Kilblean Cottage is on our farm here at Craigdam. It's detached, so you're on your own. The views are over open fields.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both ensuite. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well kitted out. Egyptian cotton bedding, robes, that sort of thing. There's a wood burner, which you'll need to light yourself. The garden has a seating area, a firepit, and a barbecue.
You're on a working farm. We're quiet, but you'll see us going about. You can walk straight out from the cottage onto the farm tracks. It's very peaceful.
Oldmeldrum is about ten minutes by car for shops and a few pubs. The coast, places like Cruden Bay and Newburgh, is about half an hour's drive. Aberdeen is maybe 25 minutes if you need the city.
For golf, there's a course in Oldmeldrum, but the famous ones like Royal Aberdeen, Cruden Bay, and Murcar Links are all within about 40 minutes. If you like castles, there are plenty around. Fyvie Castle is close, and Castle Fraser is worth a trip.
Facilities: parking right outside, WiFi, washing machine, bikes can be stored. One well-behaved dog is welcome. Bedding and towels are included.
We also have West Kilblean Cottage next door. You can book both together if you're a group of six.
