The Cart Shed
The Cart Shed is a converted farm building on our land in Wiston. It's part of a small group of cottages, so the garden and games room are shared with a few other guests, but there's plenty of space. You get your own patio spot.
It's all on one level, which is good if steps are a problem. It sleeps five in two bedrooms. One's a king size, the other has a bunk bed and a single. There's one wet-room shower room. The main room is open plan, so the kitchen, dining, and sitting area are all together. There's an electric fire for background heat. We've put in an electric vehicle charger.
You're out in the fields here. The nearest pub that does food is about three miles away in Martletwy. The shop is in Robeston Wathen, five miles. You'll want a car.
The point of being here is the coast. You can get to loads of Pembrokeshire beaches in under half an hour. Broad Haven is a good family one, about 25 minutes. The coastal path is right there too. You can often see dolphins from the cliffs around St Brides Bay.
Haverfordwest is the main town, about seven miles. It has the big supermarkets and shops. For a day out, Pembroke Castle is about twenty minutes south. The Preseli Hills are good for walking and are a short drive north.
On site, there's the shared games room with pool and snooker tables, and a utility room with a washing machine you can use. The garden has a duck pond. We allow one well-behaved dog. Bedding and towels are included.
