Ikkle Cottage is in Blidworth, which is up in Nottinghamshire. It's a two-up two-down terrace. The name fits, it's small. It sleeps four in two bedrooms, and has a bathroom.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. Decor is traditional, not minimalist. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. Parking is on site.
The back patio is walled and fenced. It's not huge, but it's private and secure. It's fine for a coffee or for letting the dogs out. We take up to two dogs.
The local pub is about 100 yards away. They're dog friendly and serve food. There's a couple of supermarkets and takeaways about a ten minute walk into the main village.
You're in proper Robin Hood country here. Sherwood Forest is a short drive away. Clumber Park is great for walking and cycling, and Rufford Abbey isn't far either. Southwell Minster is worth a visit if you like that sort of thing.
For a day out with kids, White Post Farm is nearby. Newstead Abbey, where Lord Byron lived, is only a few miles away. If you want to go into Nottingham, you can get the tram from Hucknall.
Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them.
