Ikkle Cottage is on Main Street in Old Blidworth. It's called Ikkle because it is small. It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The stairs are a bit steep, like in most old cottages.
The back is a small, enclosed patio. It's walled and fenced, so it's secure for dogs. We take two.
The Bell Inn pub is about a hundred yards away. They do food and are dog friendly. There's a Co-op and a Premier shop in the village, about half a mile.
You're right in Robin Hood country here. Sherwood Forest is about a ten minute drive. Clumber Park and Rufford Abbey Country Park are both within twenty minutes. They're good for long walks.
Newstead Abbey, which was Lord Byron's place, is only a few miles away. Southwell is a nice market town about twenty minutes drive. The Minster is worth a look.
For facilities, it has the basics: WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. There's parking for one car on the drive. We include bedding and towels. A cot, highchair, and stairgate are there if you need them.
