Fir Tree Cottage is in Chatcull. It's a quiet spot, just houses and fields. The cottage is one of two together, but you've got your own garden. It's a big lawn. There's a conservatory that looks out onto it.
It sleeps eight people. Four bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. The facilities are decent. There's a wood burner, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and parking right outside.
You can bring two dogs. We provide bedding. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
The local pub is in Croxton, about a mile and a half away. They do food. The nearest shop is two and a half miles, in Eccleshall. Eccleshall has a few good places to eat if you don't fancy cooking.
If you like walking or cycling, you're well placed. You can be in the Peak District National Park in under half an hour. The Cannock Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is also close, maybe twenty minutes by car.
For a day out, Alton Towers is about thirty minutes' drive. Ironbridge Gorge, which is a World Heritage Site, is roughly the same. Shrewsbury is a bit further, maybe forty minutes. It's a nice town to wander round by the river.
The owners live half a mile away. You can ask them about fishing or using their tennis court.
