Evie Rose Cottage
Evie Rose Cottage is a stable conversion next to our house, out near Elsenham. You get your own space and the front terrace looks out over six acres of paddock and woodland. It's quiet out here.
It sleeps two. One bedroom with an en suite shower room, so everything's on the ground floor. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean, with an open plan living area and a wood burner.
We're right next to a new driving range and a 9-hole golf course. You can use those, and there's an adventure golf and a clubhouse with a bar and restaurant. There's also a gym on site if you want it.
The local pub is about a ten minute walk. There's a village shop about a mile away. Stansted Mountfitchet is three miles for more shops and places to eat.
You’re about two miles from Stansted Airport, which is handy for meeting people or an early flight. The train station in Elsenham is a mile and a half away. You can get to Cambridge in about half an hour and London in 45 minutes.
For days out, Audley End House is close by. So is Hatfield Forest. If you like historic villages, Thaxted and Finchingfield are a short drive away.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking right outside.
