Blythswood is a detached bungalow in Glenfinnan. It's set back from the main road so it's quiet, and the views from the front are over the village towards the loch.
It sleeps six people. There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms, which is handy. It has a 4 Star rating. It's all on one level, which makes it practical, and there's parking right outside.
The village itself is famous for the Jacobite rising. The National Trust monument is here, and there's a visitor centre. The local church, St Mary and St Finnan, is worth a look too. The pub is about a five minute walk away.
You can see the Jacobite steam train from the cottage sometimes. It's the one used in the Harry Potter films. It goes along the viaduct down the glen.
For supplies, the nearest shop is about fifteen miles away in Fort William. That's also where you'll find supermarkets and more places to eat. Fort William calls itself the outdoor capital, so if you're into walking or mountain biking, that's your place. Mallaig is in the other direction. You can get the ferry to Skye from there.
The cottage has a wood burning stove, which is good for cooler evenings. There's a dishwasher, a washing machine, wifi, and a garden with a patio. Bedding and towels are included. Sorry, no pets.
