Blythswood is a bungalow in Glenfinnan. It's detached and sits back from the main road, so you get open views over the village. It's a 4 Star, so you've got everything you need.
It sleeps six across four bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, which is handy. One of them is a wet room and the main entrance is level, so it's suitable for a wheelchair.
The local pub and restaurant is a five minute walk down the road. The nearest proper shop is in Fort William, about 15 miles away, so you'll want to bring food with you. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine here.
You can see the Jacobite steam train go past from the property. That's the one from the Harry Potter films. The Glenfinnan Monument and visitor centre run by the National Trust for Scotland is right there at the head of Loch Shiel. The church by the loch is worth a look too.
Fort William is about a 25 minute drive away for bigger shops. You can head the other way to Mallaig in about half an hour to get the ferry to Skye. There's a lot of walking right from the doorstep.
It has a woodburning stove, satellite TV, and wifi. Bedding and towels are included. There's on site parking and a garden. We can provide a cot. No pets, sorry.
