Torr Caladh

Torr Caladh is a bungalow on one floor, so no stairs at all. It's detached and you've got your own garden, which is enclosed. The driveway is shared with the house next door, but it's fine for parking.

It sleeps six people in three bedrooms and there's one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and has everything you need, but it's not a show home. It's a practical sort of place.

You're right in Glenfinnan village. It's quiet here. The local pub is about five minutes walk away, and you can walk to the shore of Loch Shiel from the house.

The famous Glenfinnan Viaduct is a short walk, the one from the Harry Potter films. The train station is close by too. The West Highland Line that runs through it is a stunning journey if you fancy a trip.

You've got fishing rights for the loch included with the house. The Glenfinnan Monument is run by the National Trust for Scotland and is worth seeing. You can get boat trips on Loch Shiel from there to see eagles and deer.

Fort William is about 20 minutes drive away for bigger shops. Going west, the beaches around Morar and Arisaig have white sand and clear water. You can get boat trips from Arisaig to the Small Isles. Mallaig is where the ferry goes over to Skye.

For facilities, it's got a wood burning stove, a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Sorry, no pets.
