The Bothy Great Hockham

The Bothy is behind our house in Great Hockham. It's a one-bedroom place, sleeps two. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, but it's small. It's all open-plan downstairs, with the kitchen, a sofa, the wood burner, and the bed all in one room. Upstairs is just the bathroom with a shower over the bath.

The garden is enclosed, which is good if you have a dog. There's a table and chairs out there. It gets the sun in the afternoon.

The village pub is about half a mile away, a five-minute walk. They do food.

For days out, Thetford Forest is about nine miles. Good for walking and cycling. Thetford Forest has the details. The National Trust's Oxburgh Hall is nearby and worth seeing.

Norwich is about 35 minutes by car if you need a city day. It's got the castle, cathedral, and shops.

Included in the price: bed linen, towels, electricity, wifi, and parking. There's a TV. We've got bike storage if you bring them. No pets, sorry.
