The Potting Shed
The Potting Shed is a little barn in the grounds of Island Hall, next to the river. It sleeps two. It's detached, so it's just you. There's a patio area that's yours to use.
Inside is one open plan room with a kitchen, sitting area, and a wood burning stove. The bedroom leads off it, and the shower room is modern. There's a small mezzanine with a desk if you need to work. Everything's on one floor.
It's peaceful here. The windows look out over the fields and the river. Port Holme meadow and the nature reserves are right there for a walk.
You can walk into Godmanchester in a few minutes. There are a couple of pubs and shops. Huntingdon station is about a 15-minute walk. Trains go to Cambridge and London from there.
Cambridge is about half an hour's drive. You've got all the colleges and the museums. For a longer trip, Anglesey Abbey is a nice spot. Ely Cathedral is about 25 minutes away.
The place has a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. Towels and bedding are included. Parking is right outside. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
