Pam's Plaice

Pam’s Plaice is in Offord D’Arcy, Cambridgeshire. It’s a semi-detached house, right next to the village primary school. You have to walk past the school gates to get to the front door. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you’re bringing dogs.

It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and one bathroom. It’s a 4 Star place, so it’s comfortable and well-equipped. There’s a washing machine, WiFi, and parking on the drive. We provide bedding, towels, a cot, and a highchair if you need them. You can bring two pets.

The house is named after the previous owner. It’s got a conservatory that’s nice and light, and a garden out the back with a patio and a BBQ.

The village shop is a few minutes’ walk away. There’s a cafe called Ascent about ten minutes on foot. For a pub, you’d drive to Godmanchester, which is the next village along. It’s on the River Great Ouse so it’s nice for a stroll.

For days out, Cambridge is about half an hour’s drive. I’d use the park and ride. Huntingdon is closer, about ten minutes, and you can get a train from there to Cambridge, or to London in around an hour.

Grafham Water is a big reservoir about fifteen minutes away. Good for walking, cycling, or water sports. Ely and its cathedral are roughly half an hour’s drive.
