Pentland Pod is in Leadburn, just off the A701. It's a single pod on a farm, so you're on your own. There's a big field around it. It's very quiet.
It sleeps two adults. One open-plan room with a double bed, a kitchen area, and a sofa. There's a separate shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-finished and comfortable. Everything is on one level.
Outside, there's a deck with a gas barbecue. The wood-fired hot tub is on the grass next to it. You get a bag of kiln-dried wood to start you off, and you can buy more. It's a proper hot tub with jets.
For getting around, you really need a car. Edinburgh is about half an hour north. The Pentland Hills are right there for walking. Glentress Forest, for the mountain biking, is about a 25-minute drive.
In the pod, you've got underfloor heating, a dishwasher, a smart TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.
