Pentland Pod Leadburn

Pentland Pod is a single pod on a farm near Leadburn. It's just off the A701, so you can hear a bit of road noise, but it's mostly quiet. It's surrounded by fields.

It's a 4 Star place, which means it's modern and well-equipped. It's all one open-plan room. There's a double bed in the same space as the sofa and kitchen. The sofa converts to a double bed as well, but it's really best for two adults. If you bring kids, they'd be on that sofa bed in the main room.

It's got underfloor heating so it's warm. The kitchen is small but has a dishwasher and a coffee machine. The shower is good. Outside there's a deck with a gas barbecue and a wood-fired hot tub. You get wood provided for the hot tub.

The location is good for getting around. Edinburgh is about half an hour north. The Pentland Hills are right there for walking. For mountain biking, Glentress Forest in the Tweed Valley is about a 40-minute drive.

It's on a farm, so there's plenty of grass around it. Parking is right next to the pod.
