Aurora

Aurora is a first floor apartment in Lossiemouth. It's big and open plan, with two double bedrooms and two bathrooms. You get a great view of the sea and the Moray Firth from the main room. Parking is right outside for two cars.

It's a 4 Star place, so it’s comfortable and well-equipped. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included.

The beach is just there, literally a couple of minutes' walk. You can get straight onto the sand. Lossiemouth itself is a working town, so there's a good shop, a couple of pubs, and places to eat within walking distance. RAF Lossiemouth is nearby, so you'll see and hear the Typhoons and Poseidons flying. I think it's interesting, but it's worth knowing.

If you like golf, Moray Golf Club is a five minute walk. They have two links courses, including the Old Course by Old Tom Morris. There are plenty of other courses around, too.

Sandy beaches, good walks right from the door, and you're in a decent spot for exploring. Elgin is about ten minutes in the car for more shops or to see the cathedral. For a day out, the Scottish Dolphin Centre at Spey Bay is about half an hour away. You might see dolphins, seals, or otters. There are also whisky distilleries all over this part of the country if that's your thing.

Useful links for planning: VisitScotland North Coast 250 and Moray Speyside.
