Wilson Apartment Cheltenham

The Wilson Apartment is on the first floor of a converted Victorian farmhouse on the edge of Cheltenham. It's for two people. You get one bedroom, a bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a living area with a kitchen.

It's a 4 Star place, which means it's been recently done up to a good standard. The stairs up to it are the original ones, so they're a normal width but a bit steep, like most old houses. The ceilings are high and the windows are the original sashes, so they let in a lot of light but can be a bit draughty.

It's in a quiet spot but you're only a ten-minute drive from the town centre. Cheltenham has the usual shops, a theatre, and the regency gardens are nice for a walk. There are a lot of restaurants, including a couple with Michelin stars if you want to book something special.

For days out, you're right on the edge of the Cotswolds. Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold are about half an hour's drive. The Cheltenham racecourse is close by for the festivals. For a longer walk, the National Trust has a few properties nearby, like Snowshill Manor.

Included in the stay: the parking is on site, there's wifi, and bedding and towels are provided. There's storage for bicycles if you bring them. No pets, I'm afraid.
