Ardlearag

This is Ardlearag. It's a house by Little Loch Broom, looking out towards Scoraig and Beinn Ghobhlach. You can see An Teallach to the east.

It sleeps eight people. There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms, so it's got a bit of space. It's a 4 Star place. The main living area is all one big room with lots of windows. The view from there is the whole point, really.

You come in through the back door. There's a utility room right there, which is useful for boots and coats. The stairs have a stairgate fitted.

The house is right by the water, but it's not a beach. It's a sea loch. You can walk from the door. It's very quiet. The area is quite remote.

Ullapool is the nearest proper town for shops. It's about a 25 minute drive south. From there you can get the ferry to the Isle of Lewis. North of us, you've got Assynt and Sutherland. To the south are places like Aultbea, Poolewe, and Gairloch, which have some good beaches. They're all within half an hour or so.

For walking, An Teallach is close. It's a serious mountain. The National Trust for Scotland and the John Muir Trust have information on lots of areas nearby if you're planning trips.

What's here: parking, garden, wood burning stove, wifi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher, cot and highchair. You can bring up to three dogs. Bedding and towels are included.
