Kildonan

Kildonan is just outside the hamlet of Badluarach, on Little Loch Broom. It's a detached house on its own bit of land at the end of a track, so it's very quiet. The views from the front are straight out over the loch to the Summer Isles.

It sleeps seven, in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, one is an en-suite. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. It feels new and is very light inside.

Downstairs is mostly open plan. The kitchen is big, with flagstone floors and a proper dining table. The living room is separate, with a wood burner. There's also a games room with a pool table and dart board, which is useful if the weather turns.

Outside, there are gardens all around. You can get straight down to the loch from the house for a swim if you're brave. The water's cold.

You're right in the middle of walking and climbing country. An Teallach is very close. Dundonnell village is about eight miles away, it has a seasonal restaurant and bar. For a proper shop, you need to go to Ullapool or Gairloch. They're both about half an hour's drive and have everything you'll need. The house is on the North Coast 500 route, so the driving is spectacular.

Facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. There's parking for a few cars. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate. The garden is enclosed. You can bring up to three pets.
