You're on the river, so you can walk along the towpath. Croft Farm is a short drive away. They have a lake where you can swim or hire paddleboards. Their cafe allows dogs.
You can drive into the Cotswolds easily. Cheltenham is about 20 minutes away for the races or the festivals. For castles, Sudeley Castle and Eastnor Castle are both within a half hour drive.
It has parking, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. You can store bikes.
