Little Orchard is a bungalow in Worlington. It's detached, so you're on your own at the end of the lane. The garden goes around the place with a patio and a hot tub. It's all on one floor.
It was done up in 2020, so everything's modern and works. Two bedrooms, both with their own shower room. Sleeps four. The living area is open plan, kitchen at one end. It's got a five star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. There are dressing gowns and a welcome pack when you arrive.
The village is small. The local pub is about a five minute walk. It serves food. The nearest shop is in Icklingham, a couple of miles down the road.
You're really well placed for getting out. Thetford Forest is about a twenty minute drive. It's a huge area for walking or cycling. Forestry England has the details. Newmarket races are fifteen minutes away. Bury St Edmunds is about twenty minutes, nice for a wander around the abbey and the town. Cambridge is under forty minutes if you fancy a day in the city. The coast, like Southwold, is just over an hour.
A few other things: it's wheelchair friendly, there's parking right outside, and you can bring up to two dogs. There's a kennel outside if needed. All bedding and towels are included, and there's a washing machine. We provide a cot as well.
For planning, National Trust Suffolk covers places like Ickworth and Melford Hall.
