The Stables is a converted stable block on the Harburn Estate, near West Calder. It sleeps up to eleven people. There are five bedrooms and four bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The layout is a bit unusual because it's an old building. The bedrooms are spread out over two floors, which is good for a bit of privacy. There's a master bedroom on the ground floor with its own bathroom, and another twin room down there with a private shower room. Upstairs there are three more bedrooms and two more bathrooms.
Downstairs, there's a big living room and a separate dining room. The kitchen has a stable door and an old stone wall. It's well-equipped. The windows all look out over the estate grounds, woods, or the lochs.
The place is wheelchair accessible at the entrance. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. All bedding and towels are included. You've got a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. There's a garden and patio with a BBQ, and parking right there. Sorry, no pets.
The Harburn Golf Club is just a short walk away. They have a bistro called Bistro19 that does food and drink. For shops and more restaurants, Livingston is about ten minutes away by car.
You're well placed for getting about. Edinburgh and Glasgow are both about half an hour's drive, or you can get a train from West Calder station. Stirling, the Trossachs, and Loch Lomond are all roughly an hour away by car.
