Rhunahaorine Cottage is on the Kintyre peninsula, near Tayinloan. It's detached and sits by itself, so it's quiet. The cottage was built a long time ago, around 1880, but it's been done up recently. It's warm and comfortable.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs and a bathroom. There's a woodburning stove in the living room, which is good for cooler evenings. The stairs are typical for an old cottage, so they're a bit steep. The garden is enclosed, which is useful if you have dogs. We take up to two pets.
You're about a mile from the coast here. There are plenty of beaches a short drive away. The one at Tayinloan is handy for a walk. For a bigger beach, Machrihanish is famous for surfing. The National Trust for Scotland's Achamore Gardens on Gigha are worth a trip if you like gardens. You can get the ferry from Tayinloan.
For a day out, Campbeltown is about a half hour drive. It's a proper town with shops, a leisure centre, and a couple of whisky distilleries if that's your interest. Tarbert, in the other direction, is a smaller fishing village with a nice harbour.
Inside, it's got what you'd need: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.
