Chestnut Cottage
Chestnut Cottage is in Dartford, Kent. It’s one of a pair of cottages in our garden. You look out over some fishponds. It’s quiet here.
It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating. It’s clean and modern inside. Everything is on the ground floor, which makes it straightforward.
There’s a shop and a pub a quarter of a mile away. The pub does food. You can walk into the Darenth Valley from the gate.
You can get to London fairly easily. Ebbsfleet International station is about ten minutes by car for the Eurostar. St Pancras and Stratford are also reachable if you want museums or galleries.
Bluewater shopping centre is a short drive away. Brands Hatch race circuit isn’t far if that’s your thing. Lullingstone Roman Villa is nearby and run by English Heritage, so worth a look if you like history.
There’s a heated outdoor swimming pool you can use if you arrange it with us first. It’s shared with the other cottage and us.
Facilities: there’s parking, a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. No pets sorry.
