Chestnut Cottage
Chestnut Cottage is one of a pair in our garden in Dartford. You look out over the fishponds from the front. It's separate from our house but you'll see us around sometimes.
It's for two people. One bedroom with the bathroom just next to it. The living area is all one room, kitchen at one end. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable. There are some low beams, you have to mind your head in a couple of spots.
You're welcome to use the heated outdoor swimming pool if you let us know. We just need to make sure it's not in use for family time.
The village shop and a pub are a five minute walk away. The pub does food.
If you want to get into London, Ebbsfleet International station is about ten minutes by car. You can get the Eurostar to the continent from there, or a train to St Pancras in under half an hour. Bluewater shopping centre is a ten minute drive the other way.
For things to see, Lullingstone Roman Villa is close. Brands Hatch is nearby if there's a race meeting on. There are good walks straight from the door into the Darenth valley.
What's here: there's a washing machine, TV, WiFi, parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
