Holly Cottage is a bungalow near Garve in the Highlands. It's detached, so no shared walls. The main thing is the view. It's up a bit of a slope and looks out over fields and hills.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms. Two are doubles, one has twin beds. There are two bathrooms, and one has a bath as well as a shower. Everything's on one floor, so no stairs to worry about. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after.
Outside, there's a patio with a table and chairs. There's a portable BBQ you can use. The garden's enclosed, which is handy if you're bringing dogs. You can bring up to two.
Inside, it's straightforward. The kitchen has what you need, including a dishwasher and a washing machine. The living room has a TV and WiFi. We provide all the bedding and towels. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
Location wise, you're about a mile from Garve village. There's a shop there for basics and a train station. Ullapool is about 40 minutes north if you want to get the ferry to the Outer Hebrides. Inverness is a 45 minute drive east for bigger shops.
For walks, Rogie Falls is close by. You can see the salmon leaping in season. The Beinn Eighe nature reserve is about an hour's drive, and it's good for serious hiking. If you want to go further, you can reach the coast at Gairloch or even get to the Isle of Skye in under two hours, depending on traffic.
