Lavenham Red Brick Cottage is right on the high street in Lavenham. It's a terraced cottage. You get a small, enclosed courtyard out the back.
It sleeps three people. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well kept and comfortable. The stairs are steep because it's an old cottage.
You're right in the middle of things here. The shop is about a minute's walk. There's a good pub that does food just round the corner. The village is full of those historic timber-framed buildings. English Heritage has a page on it if you're interested: English Heritage Lavenham.
It's a good base for seeing Suffolk. Bury St Edmunds is about twenty minutes by car. For the coast, Aldeburgh or Southwold are both a bit less than an hour's drive. Thetford Forest is about half an hour away for walking or cycling.
For facilities: there's a wood burning stove, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is allowed. There's a highchair if you need it.
