Highmoor Park Cottage Highmoor

Highmoor Park Cottage is out near Highmoor. It's a one bedroom place, so it's just for two people. It's next to our main house, but you've got your own building. You share the view of the parkland, which is about 70 acres of fields and woods.

It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean. The main thing here is the space outside and the facilities on the estate. You can use the indoor heated swimming pool whenever you like. There's a games area there too with a pool table. There's a tennis court you can book. You'll see red kites and deer about. There are horses in the fields and sometimes you can arrange a ride.

The local pub is about a mile away. It's a nice old place and does food. Henley-on-Thames is about six miles. It’s busy during the Regatta in July but lovely the rest of the year. Reading is eight miles the other way, which is handy if you need a big shop or want to catch a train into London.

You're right in the Chilterns, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are good walks from the door through the parkland. For more structured days out, you're not far from some National Trust places like Grey's Court or Basildon Park.

For facilities, it's all included: bed linen, towels, parking, WiFi, electricity. There's a TV. You have a private patio area with furniture. One well-behaved dog is welcome. Please just keep it off the furniture.
