The Old Meeting Hall

The Old Meeting Hall is a conversion on the ground floor of the old village hall. It's a bungalow, so everything's on one level. There's a wooden door that opens into a long open plan room, the main living space. It has high ceilings.

It sleeps two in the one bedroom. There's a double bed and an ensuite shower room. The shower is digital, which means you can set the temperature exactly. There's underfloor heating.

Outside the back door is a private, enclosed patio area with a table and chairs. The hot tub is out there too.

The village is King's Somborne. It's quiet. There's a stream that runs along the edge of the garden, so you can hear water when it's flowing. There's a village shop about two hundred yards away. The nearest pub, The Crown Inn, is about half a mile.

It's a five star rated property. That means everything is new and well finished.

For walking, the Test Way and the Clarendon Way footpaths are right here. The River Test is about a mile away, which is famous for fly fishing.

Stockbridge is three miles up the road. It's a small town with a good high street and some nice places to eat. Winchester is about nine miles, Salisbury about eighteen, and Southampton about sixteen.

If you want to drive out for the day, the New Forest is close. So are places like Mottisfont Abbey or Beaulieu. Stonehenge is within an hour, but you need to book.

Facilities: there's a wood burner, a washing machine, TV, wifi, and parking right outside. Everything is included, bedding and towels. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
