Eventide

Eventide is in Broom, which is a quiet village in Bedfordshire. It's a semi-detached house, sleeps five. Three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. We renovated it a while back, so it's in good shape.

There's a shared lawn at the front, and you get your own garden furniture there. Good for a quiet evening when it's nice out.

The stairs are standard for a place like this. They're steep in the middle, then turn near the top. Fine for most, but you need to watch your step.

The local pub is a few minutes walk away. They do food. For a shop, the farm next door is excellent. It's a proper farm shop with local produce, not just a corner shop. You can get most things there.

Biggleswade is the nearest town, about two and a half miles. It's got the usual supermarkets, a few restaurants, and a train station. You can get to London or Cambridge in under an hour from there.

For days out, Woburn Abbey and Safari Park are about twenty minutes away by car. If you like walking, the Greensand Ridge Walk goes through this area. You can drive into the Chilterns, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, in less than half an hour.

For facilities: parking is on the drive. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and the TV. Bedding and towels are included. No pets allowed, sorry.

If you're planning walks or trips: National Trust Woburn and maybe Chilterns AONB.
