Devana Croft

Devana Croft is up on the hill above Tarbert. It's a bungalow, so it's all on one floor which is good if you don't like stairs.

It sleeps nine, with four bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and well looked after, and the main thing is the view. You get a clear look right down Loch Fyne from the garden. The garden is enclosed and there's a patio to sit on.

It's detached, so you're on your own. Parking is right there. You've got a woodburning stove for cooler days, and a BBQ. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can put up a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring two dogs.

The house is about half a mile from Tarbert village. There's a shop, a pub, and a few restaurants down by the harbour. It's a working harbour, so there's always something to look at. You can get the ferry from there over to Portavadie. The nearest beach is about three miles away.

If you want to get out, you're in a good spot for it. The ferries to Islay, Jura and Gigha leave from not too far up the road. Going south, the Mull of Kintyre has some good beaches. For a day out, you could visit Inveraray Jail and Castle, or one of the local distilleries like Campbeltown.

It's a good base for walking, cycling or fishing. The house has bike storage. The local golf course is just down the hill.
