Glencairn Rd.

Glencairn Rd is a bungalow in Langbank, near Port Glasgow. It's detached, so you've got your own space. The garden is a patio area, nothing huge, but it's yours to use.

It sleeps six people, but there are only two bedrooms. That means it's set up with a couple of double beds and bunk beds in one room, so it suits a family or a group of friends who don't mind sharing. There are two bathrooms, which is handy with that many people. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well equipped and comfortable.

You're allowed to bring two dogs. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking on the drive. There's also an electric vehicle charger if you need it.

The local pub is about five minutes' walk away. They do food. The nearest shop is in Langbank village, about two miles, so you'll likely drive for groceries.

Where it really works is for getting around. The train station is close, and you can be in the centre of Glasgow in about half an hour. For outdoors, you're about 20 miles from the edge of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. You can drive up there for walking or a boat trip.

You're also well placed for the coast. You can get ferries from nearby Gourock over to Dunoon and the Cowal peninsula. Heading south down the Ayrshire coast, you've got the coastal path, beaches, and golf courses like Turnberry within a 30-40 minute drive.
