The Snug
The Snug is a first-floor apartment in Blackridge. It's in the grounds of our house, but it's private. You'll see the main house, but you've got your own entrance and your own space.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. Everything's on one level once you're inside, which is handy.
The hot tub is on a private deck. It's secluded. You often see deer in the fields around here, especially in the evening.
You'll need a car to get about properly. The train station is about a 30-minute walk. Trains to Edinburgh or Glasgow take about half an hour from there, which is straightforward if you don't want to drive into the cities.
Blawhorn Nature Reserve is right on the doorstep for a walk. For a bigger day out, The Kelpies and The Falkirk Wheel are about a 25-minute drive. Stirling Castle and Linlithgow Palace are within half an hour too.
There's a local shop half a mile away. For a bigger supermarket or a meal out, it's about three miles to the nearest town.
Facilities: it's all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. The bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside the apartment. Sorry, no pets.
