The Snug
The Snug is a first-floor flat above our garage. It's on our property in Blackridge, so you'll see us around, but your space and the garden are private. It's just for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom.
Everything's on one level except the outside steps up to the front door. It gets the sun in the morning. We've kept it modern inside. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The main thing is the hot tub. It's in a fenced-off part of the garden, so it's just for you. You often see deer in the fields behind the house.
You're about halfway between Edinburgh and Glasgow here. The train station is a 25-minute walk down the lane. Trains to either city take about half an hour. There's free parking at the station if you'd rather drive down.
There's a shop in the village, about half a mile. For a bigger supermarket or a meal out, it's a five-minute drive to Bathgate.
If you like walking, you're right next to the Blawhorn Moss nature reserve. It's good for a proper stretch. The Kelpies and the Falkirk Wheel are about a 20-minute drive. Stirling Castle and Linlithgow Palace are within half an hour. The shopping at Livingston is 15 minutes away.
For facilities, you've got the washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside the flat. We've got space to store bikes if you bring them.
