The Fishing Lodge is in Netton, Wiltshire. It's a detached bungalow right on the bank of the River Avon. The river has trout. If you want to try some dry fly fishing, you need to arrange it with me in advance. There's a charge for that.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. Everything is on one level, so no stairs. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, not luxurious.
The garden is yours. There's a patio with a BBQ. It's fenced but not perfectly dog-proof, so keep an eye on them. We take up to two pets.
Inside, there's a woodburning stove for winter evenings, a TV, WiFi, a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. Parking for two cars.
The local shop and pub are about a mile up the road in the village. The pub does food.
Right across the river is Heale House. It's a 16th century house with gardens you can visit. Stonehenge is about a 25 minute drive. Salisbury is about half an hour away. The cathedral is worth seeing, and they have one of the original Magna Carta documents. If you're interested in that sort of thing, Woodhenge is nearby too, though there's not much to see above ground.
