The Old Pool House
The Old Pool House is in Sevenhampton, behind our main house. It’s a single-storey, detached cottage, which is good if you don’t want stairs. It looks out onto fields in the Coln Valley, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The view from the living room is very nice.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It has a 5 Star rating, which means it’s well equipped and finished to a high standard. The layout is open plan, so it’s good for groups.
You’re surrounded by farmland here. It’s quiet. You can walk straight out from the garden onto footpaths. For shops, you’ll need to drive. There’s a shop about two miles away.
Cheltenham is about six miles. That’s where you’ll find the cinema, most of the shops, and the racecourse. Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water, and Cirencester are all about a 15-minute drive. They get busy, but they’re handy.
For a day out, you’ve got the Cotswolds AONB right on the doorstep. The National Trust have some good properties nearby too, like Hidcote and Snowshill Manor.
Facilities: there’s a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking for two cars. The garden is big and fully enclosed. We can provide a cot and highchair. Bedding and towels are included. It’s all on one level and there are some grab rails fitted. No pets, I’m afraid.
