The Woodford Retreat is a detached bungalow in a quiet road in Woodford. It's a four star place, so it's well kept. It sleeps four, across two bedrooms and one bathroom.
It's got off-road parking for two cars on the drive. The patio area is fully enclosed, so it's safe if you're bringing a dog. Bedding and towels are included.
Inside, there's a washing machine and a dishwasher. The WiFi is decent. The second bedroom is set up as a home office, but it has a pull-down single bed if you need the extra sleeping space. The main bedroom has these bi-fold doors that open straight out onto the patio.
The one thing to mention is the fish tank. It's built into the wall between the main bedroom and the living room. It's just there. Some people love it, some find it a bit strange.
You're about a 15 minute walk from South Woodford tube station, on the Central line. It's about 35 minutes into the West End from there. For green space, Epping Forest is right on your doorstep. The City of London Corporation site has good maps and walking routes.
Locally, there are supermarkets, a few pubs and some cafes within walking distance. Woodford Golf Club is a five minute drive away.
No pets, sorry.
