Lomond Cottage Garsington

Lomond Cottage is in Garsington in Oxfordshire. It’s a one-bedroom place for two people. It’s in the grounds of our house, but it’s all self-contained and private.

It’s got a 4 Star rating. It’s all on one floor. The living room has a wood burner and French doors that open onto your own patio. That looks out over our garden and a small pond. The bedroom has a super king-size bed and an en-suite shower room. The kitchen is a decent size.

The village is quiet. There’s a local pub within walking distance. Oxford is about five miles away, so you can get into the city centres easily. Good if you want to see the colleges or just wander around.

For walks, you’re on part of the Midvale Ridge here. You get good views towards the Chilterns and the Berkshire Downs. The area is popular with cyclists. There’s horse riding nearby too.

For a day out further afield, Blenheim Palace in Woodstock is about half an hour’s drive. The Chilterns National Landscape is also within easy reach for walking.

In terms of what’s here, it’s got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There’s parking right outside. No pets, I’m afraid.
