Moat Farm
Moat Farm is in Marsworth, right on the edge of the Tring Reservoirs. It's a new build on the footprint of an old granary barn. Detached, so no one attached to you. Big garden that looks out over fields where the owners keep a few cows and sheep.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, four bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, so it's well finished. The stairs are fine, normal modern stairs.
The kitchen has a central island, good for cooking while people chat. Two bedrooms are on the first floor, both with super king beds and their own bathrooms. The master has a small Juliet balcony and a dressing room. The other two bedrooms are on the ground floor, both king sized. They share a small bathroom between them, but there's also a full family bathroom on the ground floor with a bath and shower.
From the garden, a walking trail leads straight into the reservoirs and the canal towpath. You can walk for miles. There are two pubs and a water-side cafe about five minutes walk away. A farm shop with a good cafe and a wild spa is about a twenty minute walk.
Tring town is a short drive. It's got shops, a pub or two, and the Natural History Museum. Whipsnade Zoo is about fifteen minutes by car. For walking, Ashridge Estate, Wendover Woods and Ivinghoe Beacon are all within half an hour. Berkhamsted Castle is close too.
Facilities: parking on site, washing machine, dishwasher, EV charger, bike storage, bedding and towels included. Cot available. BBQ in the garden. Pets are welcome, up to two.
