The Stables is near Over Tabley in Cheshire. It's a detached place, used to be the stables for the big house. It's been done up well.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both doubles with their own bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, more modern inside than you might think from the outside.
It's set back from the A556. You can hear some traffic outside sometimes, mainly when you're in the garden. Once you're inside with the doors shut it's fine, but I wanted to mention it.
The big thing here is the view. It's in the middle of fields. The back garden looks west, so you get good sunsets. There's a patio out there. Footpaths go straight from the property into the fields if you want a walk.
For shops and pubs, Knutsford is about ten minutes by car. Great Budworth and Alderley Edge are close too. They've all got nice places to eat.
If you like big gardens or stately homes, you're in the right area. Tatton Park is very close. Dunham Massey and Arley Hall aren't far either. Jodrell Bank is a 15 minute drive, and Chester Zoo is about half an hour.
Delamere Forest is good for a walk or a bike ride, that's maybe 20 minutes away. If you need to go into a city, you can get the train from Knutsford to Manchester quite easily.
Facilities: it's got WiFi, a TV, parking right outside. All bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine. The kitchen has what you'd need. No pets, sorry.
