Essex Barn House
Essex Barn House is on the edge of Stapleford Abbotts, a small village in Essex. It’s set on about an acre of land, so you get your own space.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It’s got a 5 Star rating.
The barn has been converted. It feels bright inside. The big doors open up onto the garden which is handy. There are a couple of games areas with a pool table and table football.
Outside, there’s a hot tub under a cover, a seating area, and a fair bit of lawn. It faces fields.
The facilities list covers most of it. It’s detached. There’s parking. Bedding and towels are included. Wifi works well.
For things to do, there’s fishing nearby. It's a drive to a golf course. Wickford or Brentwood are the nearest towns, about ten minutes away. They have all the regular shops.
Lakeside shopping centre is about twenty minutes down the A127. Central London is under an hour by car to the outskirts, but the train from Romford or Shenfield is easier. London’s there if you want it.
If you're planning walks, the Thames Chase Forest Centre is a ten minute drive. You can also look up days out on the Visit Essex website.
Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome, but the garden isn’t fully enclosed so you’ll need to keep an eye on them.
