Rookery Cottage is in Little Staughton, which is in Bedfordshire, about twenty minutes from St Neots. It's a detached cottage on a shared private road, with its own garden.
The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom downstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, with a wood burning stove in the living room. You provide the wood. The stairs to the bedrooms are steep. There's a stairgate at the bottom.
The garden is enclosed. It's a good size. There's a patio with a table and a barbecue.
You're on the edge of the village. There's a footpath right outside that leads into the fields and bridleways. Good for walking the dog. We take two dogs, so you can bring up to two.
St Neots is the nearest proper town. It's got supermarkets, shops, and a market. The river walks there are nice. For a longer day out, Cambridge is about half an hour's drive. You can go and see the colleges, visit the Fitzwilliam Museum, or go punting. Duxford air museum is also about thirty minutes away.
Inside, you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. The kitchen has what you'd need. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking for two cars on the drive. We provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
