Weavers Cottage is on the north coast of Lewis, in North Tolsta. It's right on the edge of the village, so the views are pretty much all sea and hills. You can see Garry Beach from the garden.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-finished. The layout is a bit different. There's a main living room and then a separate family room next to the kitchen. The kitchen has a conservatory on the back for eating in. It's a good spot.
There's a utility room and a boot room by the back door. You'll need that here. The outdoor decking is the best bit. You can sit out there and watch the weather come in.
You can't charge electric vehicles or e-bikes at the cottage. Not inside or outside. It's in the rules.
The village is quiet. You'll need a car. Stornoway is about a 20-minute drive for shops and food. The beaches up north are stunning. Traigh Mhor is about 15 minutes away. For walking, the coastal paths start practically on the doorstep.
If you're interested in the old sites, the Callanish Stones are about 40 minutes by car. Dun Carloway Broch is a bit closer.
For facilities: it's got parking, a washing machine, WiFi, a cot and highchair. Bedding and towels are included. The garden is enclosed. No pets.
