Grianan is a house in Bruernish on the Isle of Barra. It's detached and sleeps eight. There are four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor, one of those has an en-suite. It’s got a 4 Star rating.
The kitchen is open plan with the dining and living area. Upstairs there's a separate sitting room between the two top bedrooms. Both living rooms have good views. There's a TV.
The garden is enclosed, so it's safe for dogs and kids. You can park on site. The facilities are pretty standard: washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and bedding and towels are included. We have a cot and highchair if you need them, and a stairgate.
It's a seaside property, so you can get to the coast easily. Barra is good for walking and fishing. There's a local pub and a golf course not far away.
For things to do, Kisimul Castle is nearby in Castlebay. If you're driving, the island isn't big, so most places are within half an hour. The beaches are very good here.
You can bring one dog. Remember to book your ferry in advance through CalMac. It's worth looking at their site for the latest timetables.
