Forest View Cottage Nottingham

Forest View Cottage is in Nottingham, in the Wollaton area. It's a bungalow, so everything's on one level. That makes it easier if stairs are a problem.

It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, which helps with a full house. The rating is 4 Star, which means it's well-finished and comfortable. It's not huge, but it's well laid out.

The garden is private and fully enclosed. There's a patio area with furniture. It's not a massive estate garden, but it's pleasant and secure for dogs or kids.

Inside, there's a wood burning stove in the living room. It works well and there's a supply of logs. The kitchen has what you'd need, including a washing machine. WiFi is reliable. Parking is on the drive for two cars.

If you want to go further out, Sherwood Forest is about a 30 minute drive north. The Sherwood Forest Country Park is the main bit. The Peak District is also within an hour's drive if you want proper hills.

For a city break, it's handy. For a countryside trip, you're on the edge of it. The M1 is a couple of minutes away at junction 26, which makes coming and going straightforward.
