Racing Retreat Towcester

This place is called Racing Retreat. It's on a quiet road just outside Towcester town centre. It's a standard semi-detached house, but we got it in 2022 and did it all up the following year.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one shower room upstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything's new, clean, and works. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got a dog. Speaking of which, we allow one well-behaved small dog.

Downstairs is open plan. The French doors from the living area open onto the patio. The kitchen has what you need: oven, hob, fridge, washing machine. There's a TV and WiFi. Parking is on the driveway for one car.

Location wise, you're about a five minute drive from the middle of Towcester. There's a Tesco there, and a few pubs that do food. The best thing about it is probably how close you are to Silverstone. It's less than ten minutes by car. If you're going for a race weekend, it's very handy. Towcester Racecourse is even closer, just down the road.

If you want to go further out, you've got a few options within half an hour. Stoke Bruerne and the canal museum are about twenty minutes east. The Silverstone Museum is at the circuit itself. For a big day out, Bletchley Park is roughly thirty minutes south. Northampton town centre is about twenty minutes away. If you like stately homes, National Trust places like Canons Ashby or Stowe are within easy reach.

That's about it. It's a straightforward house in a good spot if you're here for the racing or just to see this part of the Midlands.
