Whiteburn Cottage Abbey St Bathans

Whiteburn Cottage is on our farm in Abbey St Bathans. It's a bungalow, so everything is on one level. It's detached, and you have your own bit of garden and parking right outside.

It sleeps three. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. It's not huge, but it's fine for a small group or a couple. There's a woodburning stove for colder evenings.

You're on a working farm, so you'll see sheep and cattle. Sometimes there's farm noise, like tractors. The views from the windows are fields and hills.

The nearest proper shop is in Duns, which is about a 15-minute drive. It's a small town with supermarkets, a couple of pubs that do food, and some take-aways. Duns Castle has grounds you can walk in.

If you drive for half an hour, you can get to the coast at places like Eyemouth. Berwick-upon-Tweed is just over the border into England. For a big day out, Alnwick Castle and its gardens are also about 30 minutes away.

The place has WiFi, a TV, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's no pets allowed here on the farm, sorry.
