The Pool House Farnham Common

The Pool House is in Farnham Common, which is a village near Slough. It's a one-bedroom lodge that sleeps six, but the second bedroom is more of a cabin room with bunk beds. It's right for a family but maybe not three couples.

It's a 5 Star place, so it's well finished. The main bedroom has a super king bed and an en-suite shower room. There's a second bathroom off the living area.

The living space is open plan. Kitchen, dining, sofa area. It's all there. The appliances are good. There's a washing machine and dryer.

Outside, you look out onto the owner's large swimming pool. It's nice to sit and look at it. The owner lives in the main house on the same grounds with a friendly Labrador who might wander over.

There's also an outdoor kitchen with a pizza oven you can use. And next to the lodge is a separate fitness shed. It's got a rack, weights, a rowing machine, that sort of thing.

The location is handy. Pinewood Studios is very close, as is a fertility clinic, which some guests have found useful.

For local walks, Burnham Beeches is nearby. It's a big area of woodland. Cliveden is about ten minutes away for the house and gardens.

Windsor is within half an hour. You've got the Castle and Legoland. Marlow on the Thames is also a short drive, about 20 minutes, for a nice walk and a meal.

Facilities: parking on site, bedding and towels are included, there's WiFi and an electric vehicle charger. The entrance is wheelchair accessible. No pets.
