Fraser Terrace is in Wanlockhead. It's right in the village. It used to be two miners' cottages but it's one house now.
It sleeps eight people. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms are downstairs, both with twin beds. Upstairs there are two big bedrooms with king size beds. It has a 4 Star rating.
The living room has a wood burning stove and a Smart TV. The dining room fits everyone. The kitchen has what you need and a little breakfast area. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher.
The back garden is enclosed. Good for dogs or if you have kids. There's parking on site.
Wanlockhead is a small place. There's a pub in the village that does food. It's up in the hills, so it’s quiet. The roads getting here are quite dramatic, especially the Mennock Pass. You're on the Southern Upland Way here, so the walking is right from the door.
The Wanlockhead Museum of Lead Mining is here. You can go down the old mine. They do gold panning lessons too.
You're about seven or eight miles from the M74. Glasgow and Edinburgh are both around an hour's drive. Heading south, Dumfries is about 40 minutes. North takes you towards Ayrshire.
