Seven Spires is a beautiful barn conversion which offers a delightful stay in the charming little village of Walcott, set just outside the picturesque city of Lincoln which is full of history, character, and stunning architecture.
The cottage has been stylishly decorated and furnished, giving you that lovely home from home feeling, and no expense has been spared by the owner. The living space is open plan throughout which has a fully equipped, well-presented kitchen for all your culinary needs, should you not wish to dine at the many eateries close by, with a table and chairs for you to sit and get energised for the day ahead or have romantic meal for two. Its comfortable, cosy living area boasts a Smart TV and a stunning wood burner, which adds additional charm and heat. This is the perfect area to sit and relax in after a day exploring. Across from the living area you have the master bedroom with a comfy, plush, kingsize bed with luxury Egyptian cotton linen, guaranteeing a perfect night’s sleep. On the same floor there is the lovely bathroom which offers a fantastic roll-top bath, ideal for a long soak, or alternatively there is a large walk-in shower for those guests on the go.
To the rear of the property is a charming patio area with garden furniture and hot tub, the peaceful surroundings offer a fantastic place to sit and have a drink al fresco style in the warm summer months or relax in the superb hot tub. The Sauna is available for guests private use with three hours use included for each day of your stay.
There is so much to see and do from Seven Spires. Visit the imposing castle in Lincoln, with the Magna Carta visitor centre and the beautiful cathedral in the city, then stroll down bustling Bailgate, one of the most historic parts of Lincoln’s Cathedral Quarter, with its cobbled streets lined with independent boutiques, shops, many restaurants, and bars. The university city of Lincoln offers a good evening out for everyone, sampling the many excellent restaurants and bars making this a popular choice for a holiday location. Lincolnshire Showground, which hosts an array of events throughout the year, the International Bomber Command Centre is just 25 minutes’ drive away. The Lincolnshire coastline, with its sandy beaches and traditional seaside resorts, is 50 minutes’ drive away, whilst the Lincolnshire Wolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with pretty market towns and country pubs, are all within easy reach.
