Wayside Cottage is in Padbury, Buckinghamshire. It's a detached, stone-built cottage. It's Grade II listed, so it's old. That means it has character, but also low beams and cottage-style stairs. Mind your head.
It sleeps five. There are three bedrooms and three bathrooms. One bathroom is an en-suite with a roll-top bath and a separate shower. The other two are shower rooms.
Downstairs, there's a kitchen with a big table. There's a separate dining room, a living room with a log burner and doors out to the garden, and a small snug room. The garden is walled and private.
In the village, there's a pub and a butchers. For a proper shop, you go to Buckingham, which is about three miles away. They've got cafes, takeaways, and a market.
You're well placed for day trips. Stowe Landscape Gardens are about ten minutes away. Claydon and Waddesdon Manor are within half an hour. Bicester Village for shopping is about 25 minutes.
For something different, Silverstone Circuit is 20 minutes down the road. Milton Keynes has all the indoor stuff, like an indoor ski slope and cinema, about 25 minutes away.
The cottage has parking, wifi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's central heating and the log burner. No pets.
