The Stables
The Stables is in Summit, on the edge of Littleborough. It's detached, converted from the old stables of a farmhouse. The views are good, looking out across the valley.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well kept. There's underfloor heating and a wood burner for cooler days.
The living area is open plan. The stairs are a bit steep, as you'd expect in a conversion.
Outside, there's a patio area with a hot tub. The garden is yours to use.
You can walk straight from the door onto the Pennine hills. Yorkshire Dales National Park is north of here, and the Peak District National Park is to the south, both within 30 minutes or so by car. Hollingworth Lake is about a ten minute drive away for a walk or something to eat.
Todmorden and Hebden Bridge are nearby towns worth a look. The train from Littleborough goes to Manchester in about 30 minutes.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi and parking on site. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
