Pheasants Wander at Summercourt nestles in a gorgeous setting with far reaching countryside views. With an abundance of wildlife including swallows, buzzards and barn owls, this is a perfect place to set down and escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. Your holiday haven has been carefully created and is a delightfully uplifting space. The lovely stable door leads into a spacious, open plan living space with many features hand crafted by the owners. With a stylish 1970s vibe, including an exquisite sofa and coffee table, with some items from the renowned name of Ercol. The living area has a wall mounted TV whilst the excellent electric wood burner gives a cosy and welcoming feel. The kitchen is well equipped and has lots of storage and preparation space, whilst the use of wood throughout in many shades and styles is a delight. The bedroom boasts a superb kingsize bed, quality linens and peaceful ambience, whilst the bathroom is ultra-modern with subtle hints of a slate and granite design. There is a private area for you to soak up the sun, and of course, the views too!
The owners would like you to also enjoy their 4-acre field, with a walk around its perimeter and punctuated by gorgeous Cornish apple trees. Just 8 miles from the vibrant town of Newquay with its collection of fantastic beaches, including the iconic Fistral Beach, many shops and restaurants, you are perfectly placed to visit some of the best coastal destinations in the county. A short drive away is Padstow, famous for its buzzing quay and celebrity chef inspired restaurants, narrow streets revealing boutique shops and art galleries. South east takes you to St Austell, with many reminders from its once thriving, industrious mining heritage, whilst the picturesque coastal port of Fowey is a must visit, with narrow winding streets and all manner of nautical craft from small sailing boats to the occasional cruise ship within the harbour. This property may also be booked together with Swallows Drift situated on the floor above.
