Seaview is on the main street in Barvas, on the Isle of Lewis. It's a detached house. Barvas is quiet. It's just a street of houses really.
It sleeps seven. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. Two doubles and a shower room are downstairs. Upstairs there's a twin and a single room with the main bathroom. It's a 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The living room has a wood burner, which is good for cooler evenings. The kitchen leads out to the back garden, which looks over the croft land. You can see the sea from the front.
There's a service station a short walk away. You can get fuel, some groceries, and hot food on weekday mornings. There's also a post office and a hairdresser.
The beach at Barvas is about two miles away. It's a great stretch of sand. For other things to do, you're well placed. The Clach an Trushal standing stone is very close. It's the tallest in Scotland.
Stornoway is about a twenty minute drive south. That's where you'll find the main shops, supermarkets, and the museum. Heading north, you can visit the Blackhouse at Arnol to see how people lived here. The Callanish Stones are about forty minutes drive, and they're worth the trip. The Butt of Lewis lighthouse is roughly half an hour north.
The facilities are all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. We can provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. No pets, sorry.
