Keepers Cottage is in Holme, Lincolnshire. It's detached and down a farm track on the Scawby Estate. You're right in the middle of woods and farmland.
The views are very good. You'll see deer in the fields and woods from the windows. It's quiet.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It has a 5 Star rating, which means it's been renovated to a high standard. There's underfloor heating and a wood burner.
The garden is enclosed, mostly lawn with a raised deck at the side. That's the best spot to sit. There's a shed for bikes if you're cycling, and another seating area that catches the evening sun.
You're between Brigg and Scunthorpe. The M180 and A15 are close, so it's easy to get around. Brigg is a market town about 12 minutes away. Lincoln is 35 minutes south for the cathedral and castle. Cleethorpes and the coast are about 35 minutes to the east.
The Humber Bridge is 20 minutes away. From there you can go into Hull. The Deep aquarium is there if that's your sort of thing.
For walks, the estate itself is good. The Lincolnshire Wolds are a short drive. Useful links for planning: Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust and National Trust Lincolnshire.
Facilities: it has the usual things - washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. Parking for two cars on the drive. You can bring up to two dogs.
