River Lodge London

River Lodge is on the Isle of Dogs, in London. It's a two-bedroom house that sleeps four. You get on-site parking, which is a real bonus round here.

It's got a 4 Star rating. It's modern and comfortable, with a good standard of everything. The main thing is the view from the back; you can see the river Thames from the garden.

The location is very handy. You're a few minutes' walk from Mudchute DLR station, which gets you into the City or over to Greenwich easily. Canary Wharf is a short walk the other way for the shops and the tube. To get to Greenwich itself on foot, you take the riverside path. It's a nice walk past the O2 and you can use the foot tunnel under the river.

There's a park and a city farm at Mudchute, which is good if you've got kids. Local supermarkets, shops and restaurants are all within walking distance. It's a quiet residential street, so we ask that there's no noise after 11pm, and no parties or events. You have to be over 21 to book.

As for facilities, it's all there. Wifi, TV, washing machine, bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need one. The garden is yours to use.

For planning, the Royal Parks Greenwich Park site is useful, and Museum of London Docklands is nearby in Canary Wharf.
